An anti-caking blend is a proprietary mixture of one or more anti-caking agents combined by a manufacturer to prevent powdered or granulated food products from clumping during storage, packaging, and transport. The term appears on ingredient labels in place of naming each component individually, which is legally permissible in many jurisdictions.
